Bright, vivid colors washed over the deck and laser effects punctuate the high points of his songs, creating a multi-sensory experience unique to Audien. Known for his style of catchy hooks, emotional undertones and high energy covers, Audien performed a sensational set at TIME Nightclub on October 19th. The show starts with his mantra “Progressive House Never Died” which showcases that the subgenre of EDM remains a fan favorite. The club was packed to the rafters with fans, EDM devotees, and club goers all enjoying the vibrant energy his natural engagement brings to the crowd.

Having been a smaller venue, it was effortless for Audien to create a memorable experience. Starting off strong with his popular remix to Bastille’s “Pompeii” he got the whole crowd raging for more and ready to vibe with him for the next two hours. Unlike festivals, the crowd was packed with fans who knew his music and mixing styles, a rewarding sight to see for other fans. Festivals these days, while still providing an all-around good time, have become congested and expensive for many music goers. It was clear that people came out specifically to see Audien and enjoy the more intimate show, which he recognized and called out. The joy of being able to connect with your fans and have them recognize your specific mixes– not just vibe because the song is popular – has got to be a truly matchless feeling!

Audien has released several successful singles and collaborated with other artists, contributing to the spirited EDM scene. He will be continuing his “Progressive House Never Died” jaunt, for the third year. Being one of the genre’s premier talents, he understands the power of EDM. “I really believe that Progressive House is less of a sound and more of a moment, a movement, if you will. It’s something that brings people together, and that is something that will never die, especially post-pandemic. [It’s important] for people to come together to sing and dance the night away,” he stated in an interview from 2022. (1). Audien continues attracting both new listeners and dedicated fans through his dedication to the genre.
