Mxmtoon brings her shiny and new album The Liminal Space to famous Columbus, Ohio venue, The Bluestone, and parties hard with unbelievable vocals and a fun outgoing performance.
Maia, also known as mxmtoon is an american singer-songwriter known for bringing her ukulele with her everywhere she goes. This past weekend, she graced Columbus with her pretty pink bow and heartbreaking lyricism.
She became popular on TikTok a couple of years back for her real and honest personality. She’s never afraid to share what she was thinking and it really transcends from her personality into her music. Her most popular song, Prom Dress, became a record breaking success bringing fans from all ages into her music and giving her a chance to shine.
With this new album release, she is traveling across North America with the absolutely incredible Juliet Ivy. I first heard of Juliet Ivy when mxmtoon announced her tour and decided to check out Juliet’s music. I instantly fell in love. Her indie pop vibe and attention grabbing lyrics made for a perfect match on this tour. My opinion of the pairing was only solidified by their stage setup. Both artists had beautiful bows involved in their stage setup and they were the perfect accessories of the night.
On the topic of adorable, the crowd for mxmtoon had some of the most adorable people I’ve ever seen. Kids in the rafters dancing and shaking along to their favorite songs wearing the tour merch with bows and smiles as far as the eye could see. It’s truly always a special experience to see fans connect with an artist and it’s one of my favorite things about concerts. The community and connection it creates between fans and artists.
This tour is no exception. Juliet Ivy met with fans after her set and took pictures at the merch table and mxmtoon was holding conversations with fans in the room all night. If you’re a fan of mxmtoon now is the time to see her. You’ll have a night full of fun, laughter, and maybe even a few tears but her community of fans is warm and welcoming. There are still several stops on tour so catch mxmtoon while you can!
