Bishop Briggs’s powerhouse vocals shake Newport Music Hall with a delicious sound and infectious joy that brings fans together from across Ohio for a night of fun, friendship, and self-empowerment.

Bishop Briggs is an indie alternative artist who has gained popularity over the years for her various hits like, “River” and “Jekyll and Hyde”. This time she’s touring with her latest album, “Tell My Therapist I’m Fine”. Bringing along the wonderful Ellise. This tour is filled with inspiring women doing what they love and having a blast.

Ellise kicked off the night in one of the most stunning concert aesthetics I’ve seen. A stunning white lace dress in which she stole my heart and my ears singing her hits and a couple of songs from her upcoming album which releases this Friday, March 28th. But Ellise is more than a pretty look, her deep-cutting lyrics can resonate with people from all walks of life and I can foresee her keeping a permanent spot in my top ten artists.

After an amazing performance from Ellise, Bishop Briggs was up next. As a fan of her work already, I was blown away by her energy. It’s not often I can feel an artist that has more fun at a show than their fans but I can confidently say she was having the time of her life. With hits from all albums, she created a wonderful setlist that blended fan favorites and deep cuts.

Bishop might be one of the most energetic performers I’ve had the pleasure of seeing live. Constantly running around, jumping, and interacting with the crowd I genuinely had a fantastic night.

And so did the crowd. Standing front row were some of the most dedicated and adorable fans I’ve ever seen. With her poster, this little girl stood barricade and sang her heart out to every song. And yes, she did get her merch signed after the show.

With songs full of confidence and empowerment I left the show feeling more self fulfilled than I ever have before. Bishop Briggs left her mark on Ohio and me and I will have her album on repeat for weeks. She has more than a dozen stops left on this tour so be sure to catch her in your city if you’re looking for a night full of fun!
