Imminence delivered a jaw-dropping show of heavy metal vocals mixed with beautiful violin melodies. The group brought out songs from new and old albums to give Cleveland the ultimate fan experience.

Imminence is a melodic metal-core band hailing from Sweden. They’ve been making big waves in the metal scene for their intense scream vocals intertwined with beautiful harmonies. Imminence has made it back to the U.S for their North American tour in celebration of their latest album, The Black.

The band was welcomed to Cleveland by Jiluka and LANDMVRKS. Jiluka caught my attention the second they stepped onto stage. They had unique black leather outfits that caught my eye both as a photographer and a fan. They continued to deliver an energetic set that left me wanting more.

Thankfully, my music urge was next met by LANDMVRKS. They had such a wonderful sound. And this is where I want to give a huge shoutout to Imminence for bringing other international artists on tour because LANDMVRKS gave me a new love for French rock. They played a great show that warmed up the crowd. Overall, both of the bands killed it and I’m excited to see their return.

As a long time Imminecne fan, one of my dreams was to see them live in America. Back in 2023, they performed their first North American tour, which I was in attendance for, and I loved every second. Having that experience, I was able to see and truly appreciate The Black for how it’s transformed the band. Seeing their stage production and sound change was a full circle moment for me. They played a beautiful set with the perfect balance of fun theatrics and lore for the hardcore fans while also keeping it energetic and interesting for those who are newer to them.

The night was an immaculate example of seeing a band do what they truly love with their whole heart. Each member had their time to shine and truly worked together to bring a safe space for the fans to let loose and be themselves while singing to their hearts content. And I can honestly say the crowd was having a blast. Moshpits, crowd surfers, and walls of death galore. The crowd was constantly moving to the metal riffs and flowing to the violin harmonies.

If you’re looking lost and needing a concert to go to or needing a drink and a fun time, Imminence is the band to see. I’m so proud to see how far they’ve come and getting to interact with fans from all across the state filled me with an indescribable joy that you can only experience at their shows. They have quite a few stops left on this tour, so do not miss out. I’m excited to see where The Black takes the band and I will be catching them the next time they swing by Ohio.
